In 2009 we bought the property and immediately thought that the six units would make perfect apartments for short-term rentals, not only because of their strategic location for visitors but also because the building itself is a cultural reference of Lima’s mid-nineteenth-century architecture.
As you will appreciate during your stay in Lima, almost no buildings from this period remain in town. In fact, our building could have been easily replaced by a higher and more profitable construction. Luckily we are in love with the property and we believe in preserving the urban landscape, so we remodeled the units and kept the original materials whenever possible. With the same goal in mind, we invest regularly in maintenance.
In addition to our Manor House Lima apartments, we offer two other apartments, one of them in the neighboring district of Barranco and the other overlooking the ocean in Miraflores. These apartments work under the same short-term rental scheme. We have chosen these properties with the same criteria that characterize Manor House: unbeatable location and unique setting.
